Directions for use
1.- Place the candle on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface — outdoors on a patio, table, or deck, or indoors in a well-ventilated area.
2.-Trim the wick to ¼ inch (6 mm) before each lighting to ensure a clean, even flame and minimize smoke.
3.-Light the wick carefully. On the first burn, allow the wax to melt fully across the surface (1–2 hours) to prevent tunneling.
4.-For best insect-repelling results, light 20–30 minutes before outdoor gatherings and place near seating areas.
5.-Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time. Let cool fully before relighting.
6.-Extinguish with a candle snuffer. Do not blow directly onto liquid wax to avoid splatter.
7.-Stop use when ½ inch (1.2 cm) of wax remains to prevent the glass from overheating.
8.-Once finished, clean the ribbed glass jar and repurpose it as a planter, storage jar, or decorative piece.
Warnings
Fire Safety — Read Before Lighting
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Always extinguish before leaving the area or going to sleep.
Keep away from children and pets. Hot wax and open flame can cause serious burns and injuries.
Keep away from flammable materials. Do not place near curtains, paper, fabric, plants, or wood surfaces.
Outdoor use caution: Do not burn in strong winds. Place in a sheltered spot to maintain an even, controlled flame and prevent wax dripping.
Hot glass warning. The ribbed glass container becomes very hot while burning. Handle only after the wax has fully cooled. Do not place on delicate surfaces.
Do not burn more than 4 hours continuously. Overburning overheats the glass and may cause cracking or an uncontrolled flame.
Always trim the wick before each use. A wick over ¼ inch may produce excess soot or smoke. Keep the wax pool free of debris and wick trimmings.
Never use water to extinguish the flame. Water on hot wax may cause splattering and could shatter the glass. Use a candle snuffer only.
Fragrance sensitivity: Contains citronella (lemongrass-derived) fragrance. Individuals with fragrance sensitivities, asthma, or respiratory conditions should use only in well-ventilated or open-air spaces. If irritation occurs, extinguish and move to fresh air.
Insect repellency notice: This candle may help deter insects in the immediate area when burning. It is not a guaranteed insect repellent and should not replace personal insect protection measures for extended outdoor exposure.
Do not move while burning. Never carry or reposition the candle while lit or while wax is in liquid form. Risk of hot wax spills and burns.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat. Prolonged sun or heat exposure may soften the wax, discolor the green tint, or distort the lotus flower decoration.
