I made this hibiscus shampoo bar for people who color their hair and want a gentler, simpler way to wash it. Each bar is handmade in small batches in Los Angeles and stamped with our Abbyes Natural logo. Its deep berry color comes from real hibiscus.
It's a concentrated bar, so a little goes a long way. Just wet the bar, work up a lather in your hands, massage it into your scalp and rinse. There's no plastic bottle, and one bar lasts a long time when you let it dry between uses.
How to use
Wet your hair and the bar.
Lather the bar in your hands, or glide it over your hair a few times.
Massage into your scalp and down the lengths, then rinse well.
Let the bar dry completely between uses.
Choose how you'd like it:
Shampoo bar only – perfect if you already have a dish or a place to store it.
Shampoo bar + soap dish – includes the pink draining dish, so your bar stays dry and lasts longer. It's also a nice gift set.
Please note: Because every bar is handmade, the color, shade and texture can vary slightly from bar to bar. That's part of what makes them natural.
Precautions
For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. If it gets in your eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.
Do a patch test before first use. Lather a small amount on your inner arm and wait 24 hours.
Stop using it if you notice irritation, redness or itching, and consult a doctor if it persists.
Do a strand test first if your hair is very light, bleached or freshly colored. The hibiscus pigment could leave a slight tint, and results vary by hair type and dye.
Rinse hair thoroughly after use.
Keep out of reach of children.
Store the bar in a dry, well-drained place, ideally on the soap dish. Don't leave it sitting in water, as it will soften and wear away faster.
Keep it out of direct sunlight and excessive heat.
